We were once again at the I Love Science Festival, held in Brussels from 10 to 12 October 2025. This edition drew around 17,000 participants, and our WATS ambassador Lesley De Cruz had the honour of being the festival’s “godmother” this year. As always, our LEGO temperature boxes were a big hit. Many children designed their own climate-resilient city in LEGO and immediately saw the impact of their choices on the local temperature, learning in a playful way about the link between land use and urban heat....

Revamped LEGO urban climate game at the Brussels Science Festival 2024.

With the support of Innoviris, we were able to significantly upgrade and expand our workshop for this edition of the I Love Science Festival. The 4 beautiful new LEGO temperature boxes attracted a lot of attention and participants. Many children were able to design their climate-resilient city in LEGO and immediately visualize the impact on temperature. Through the creative process of building and testing, children learn about the impact of land use on the temperature in their city....
